SETS celebrated its 22nd Foundation Day on June 19, 2023. The Presidential Address was delivered by Prof Ajay K Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, The Scientific Secretary address was delivered by Dr. (Mrs) Parvinder Maini, Scientific Secretary, O/o the PSA to the Government of India, and the foundation day talk was delivered by Prof V Kamakoti, Director – IIT Madras.
22nd Foundation Day of SETS
Hon'ble PSA launched the 5 days hands-on training on "FPGA Based Implementation of Post-Processing for QKD“ and soft-launched SETS Ransomware Early Detection Solution (REDS).
As part of the Foundation Day Celebrations, SETS had organized two Panel discussions: (1) Panel One on "Hardware Testing and Evaluation" chaired by Dr P K Saxena, PSA Fellow, O/o the PSA to the Government of India and Chairman SETS Advisory Board. This panel had experts from SAG-DRDO, SAS-NCCS, STQC, DSCI, C-DAC and SETS. (2) Second Panel titled, ‘Quantum Security’ was chaired by Prof Kailash Rustagi, Former Head, Laser Physics Division, RRCAT, Indore. The panel had experts from PRL-Ahmedabad, IISER Pune, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Madras, IISc Bangalore, DYSL-QT Pune and SETS.
