Five Days (20-24 June 2023) Hands-on Training program on "FPGA-based Implementation of Post-processing for QKD"

SETS has conducted a five day (20-24 June 2023) hands-on training program on "FPGA-based implementation of post-processing for QKD", Launched by Prof Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India

The hand-on training focussed on control hardware electronics, FPGA programming and the latest advancements in QKD post-processing algorithms such as authentication, error correction and privacy amplification modules. Participants from various R&D, academic and industry including ISRO, DIAT, QDIT, IIT Madras, Indian Army, SAMEER, PRL, MCTE-Mhow, CDAC-Pune attended the event. The course provided hands-on experience on FPGA implementation for QKD systems and interactive sessions with experts from different verticals of quantum technology.

The Valedictory function talk was delivered by Prof V Ravindran, Director, IMSC, Chennai and a Talk on "Security of Quantum Key Distribution" presented by Prof V Sibasish Ghosh, IMSC, Chennai
