The disruptive algorithms proposed in the late 90s established their importance.The first part of this one day presentation covered two such fundamental algorithms: Shor's algorithm and Grover's algorithm. Following this, the present-day challenges of implementing these algorithms were discussed, exemplified by the three-qubit repetition code.
