Krishna L. is currently serving as Scientist-C at the Society for Electronic Transactions and Security (SETS). He holds a Master of Technology in Software Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani. With over seven years of professional experience in the information technology industry, he possesses extensive expertise across domains such as web application development, network security, blockchain, and artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML).
At SETS, he has played a pivotal role in the design, development, and deployment of advanced network security solutions, including SETS VPN (Virtual Private Network), ITMA (Integrated Threat Management Appliance), and SETS CA (Certificate Authority) products. His research interests center on the application of AI/ML technologies to address emerging cybersecurity challenges, particularly in cyber fraud detection and phishing attack mitigation, encompassing both URL-based and voice phishing threats.
Krishna’s ongoing research focuses on the Development of Advanced Threat Hunting and Incident Response systems, as well as the exploration of Post-Quantum FIDO (Fast Identity Online) technologies. In addition, he has made significant contributions to vulnerability assessment and penetration testing initiatives, reflecting his strong commitment to advancing the field of cybersecurity.
